HOW DO I ORDER?
Please send me an email with your request for a booking - when you contact me to book your cake there are several important details that I need to know in order to submit a quotation to you. A questionnaire will be submitted to you, please complete it in full and return it to me via email. I will revert back to you with any queries and will then complete your quotation.
DO YOU OFFER CAKE TASTINGS?
Yes, I do offer cake tastings. You will receive two complimentary cake tastings when booking your Wedding Cake. If you wish to try additional flavours, there is a nominal fee based on the number of tastings you require – this will be deducted from your Wedding Cake fee should you complete your booking.
WHAT SIZE CAKE MUST I ORDER?
The size of your Wedding cakes depends on the number of people/guests that will be attending your Wedding or event. The number of people that the cake will serve is dependent on when and how the cake will be served, and whether or not your menu includes a plated dessert. When completing the questionnaire this information will be required so that I may provide you with recommendations of cake sizes.
WHAT FLAVOURS AND FILLINGS DO YOU MAKE?
There are a variety of cake flavours and fillings that we offer. The standard cake flavours are Vanilla Chiffon, Dark Chocolate, Chocolate Velvet, Red Velvet and Carrot Cake. The standard cake fillings I use are Swiss Meringue, Vanilla Swiss Meringue Buttercream, Chocolate Swiss Meringue Buttercream, Cream Cheese Swiss Meringue Buttercream and Salted Caramel with Roasted Macadamias. I also offer fresh fruit puree fillings such as Lemon Curd, Raspberry, Strawberry and Granadilla.
Fondant cakes are always covered in White Chocolate, Plain Chocolate Ganche or Dark Chocolate Ganache, before being covered in fondant. The plain or natural cakes can also be covered in a Ganache of your choice.
DO YOU HAVE A PRICELIST?
Each cake is made specifically for a couple and their wedding, because of this I do not offer a set or standard price list. Pricing will be calculated based on the number of portions required and the design of the cake. A contemporary cake that has minimal décor may cost less than a cake with intricate design that includes lace, sugar flowers or gold leaf.
DO YOU OFFER CUSTOM DESIGNS?
The Collections are only indicative of the variety of options available to you for the design of your Wedding Cake. If you have an image of a cake that includes elements you would like in your design please show us and we can work together to create the perfect design for you. Please note that I do not copy cakes, many of the designs have been carefully thought of by another Cake Designer, instead we will work on a design that combines elements of the image and those based on your style and theme.
